Repertoire

In this section, we have attempted to include as extensive and varied repertoire as possible. Currently, more or less all Crumhorn repertoire has been composed during the Renaissance era. However, as new material is composed for the instrument, we shall list it here.
It should also be noted that Crumhorns have been created in a variety of different ways. You may find that much of the music here is unsuitable for your instrument without adjustment. For example, players with non-moeck Crumhorns may not be able to play the extended upward range E♭5 - F5 and therefore may prefer to transpose or otherwise alter the notated pitches.

Click on the images to see a list of compositions by each composer, including links to recordings and scores where possible. We have tried to include a full list, however, if we are missing something please let us know! (internationalcrumhornsociety@gmail.com).
